I have begun development on timvelopment's inaugural game Survival Trail.
Survival Trail is an isometric zombie survival game based in late 19th - early 20th century America for Android™ smartphones and tablets. The game will follow the main character's journey across the Northern United States as they attempt to flee from a zombie plague that is spreading from Asia.

The game will feature:
A needs system e.g. hunger, sleep etc meaning the player will need to decide whether to continue their trek in a desperate bid to keep ahead of the horde or to risk being overrun while building up supplies in a local town.
A dynamic horde, making it possible to keep ahead of the plague for the entire game but at the risk of starvation as you will only have limited resources.
A barricading system allowing you to "hold off" against a horde for as long as you can keep the barricades maintained and your supplies intact, however you may get cut off forcing you to try and break through enemy lines once supplies are gone.
Companions to aid you throughout your journey allowing for limited squad tactics.
Side missions to help bolster your mission to the East.
A large, long game world with many side villages and towns filled with either people or zombies (depending on how long it took you to get there).
The games tools have already been written and game engine design is now underway.

If the current pace of development can be maintained and if the development schedule is followed, the game should be available to buy on the Android™ marketplace by the end of summer. A short demo will be released shortly before the release of the full game.
